What is Q Ideas? Q is a proven vehicle for building and sustaining a vision for restoring the credibility of the Christian faith in Western culture for new generations.

What is the Q Conference? This year, Q Conference will take a new form as we host Q 2020 in an all-virtual format and experience. Due to recent developments surrounding COVID-19, we’ve determined this to be the best way we can continue to learn and be challenged while being mindful of the very real health concerns related to this virus. We will miss the chance to be together in person, but we are confident this move will ensure the well-being of all in the Q community while providing an impactful way for leaders from every channel of culture to continue to be thoughtful and engaged in this quickly changing cultural moment. Click here to listen to Gabe Lyons share How We Engage Our New Moment.

3rd Annual Lucky Mamas Retreat Interest List

Thank you for your interest in our Lucky Mama's Retreat! Our mission and goal is to be able to connect mamas who have kids with Down syndrome in a beautiful, intimate setting to build a community and life long support and friendships. The retreat is held on a ranch in the Texas Hill Country just outside of Austin, Texas in October, 2019 (date TBD). 

Because of our vision to keep it more intimate, the ranch sleeps just 24 ladies. Believe me...we want to meet you ALL!!!! This email list is to keep you informed of upcoming dates and information about the next retreat!! Once we have finalized these dates we will send an email letting you know when registration opens up. The spots go pretty quick, so if you are truly wanting to come please take note of the day/time registration opens as it is a first come/first serve basis. If you register and the spots are filled already we try and give you first dibs on the following year BECAUSE WE WANT TO HUG YOUR NECKS!!!

Laguna Beach California on March 9th, 2019 for wonderful time to be together and celebrate motherhood.


WHAT TO EXPECT

At Dear Mom, our focus and vision is to provide spaces and events that inspire you, encourage you, and connect you with other moms along the journey with you, raising a person with Down Syndrome. We’ve all been to conferences where we can receive a wealth of informational resources, the newest medical developments, and the ever changing law information. We found it was rare to enter a space that was beautiful, enriching, and was designed with your deepest needs in mind. To have a moment to rest, enjoy the company of others, and engage in a relationally inspired community.

At Dear Mom, Conference we feed you, leave plenty of time to connect with other moms, hire speakers to inspire you, and offer opportunities to connect beyond the conference where our community is most active day in and day out.

This event, is only for our moms this year. While we would love to host your children, we are not prepared to do so at this time. This is an adults only event.

  • Will you have time to socialize and talk with other moms? Yes, absolutely. We've built in time in reference of our mom to mom philosophy.

  • Your ticket includes access to a breakfast bar, a catered lunch, dessert, and beverages. Dinner will not be available.

  • The Standard Ticket | This is your General Admission when purchasing for yourself or more than one for a friend, family, etc.

  • Sponsor a Mom | For those who wish to Sponsor a Mom to attend. We have received lots of interest from moms who have expressed that the ticket price is out of reach. We would love to offer you the opportunity to directly support one mom to the next.

This year I am so happy to be back at the Engage Conference in Fayetteville with the amazing organization 99 Balloons.

WHAT TO EXPECT

The annual Engage Conference hosted by 99 Balloons will be held on Saturday, March 2nd at Fellowship Fayetteville. The intention of the conference is to discuss the intersection of disability, inclusion and the church. This would be a great event for ministry leaders, families

experiencing disability or anyone who wants to learn more about creating inclusive communities.All of Northwest Arkansas is invited to attend the capstone event of the Engage conference on

Saturday evening from 6:30-8:00pm. The Community Gathering featuring Heather Avis is a celebration of faith, disability and inclusion. You don’t want to miss it!

 We invite all women to come together for a night of worship, fellowship, and teaching. We encourage you to gather a group of friends, invite a coworker or neighbor, and make a fun night of it. We are creating space for God to move, to grow closer to Jesus, and to be in community together.

This workshop will take a closer look at the beauty and worth of people with Down syndrome. Heather will share about how God has used her children with Down syndrome to give her a clearer view of Himself and how we are missing out on the fullness of God when we are not in relationship with people who have Down syndrome or other different abilities. We will look at tangible ways in which we can be in relationship with people with different abilities and help our children to do the same.

WHY DEAR MOM,

As mother's raising children with Down Syndrome, we've discovered through  community and vulnerability that we can thrive if we work together.  We are all accustomed to the endless late night google searches, specialists appointments, and therapies. Thankfully, beyond those resources, we've found this wonderful secret that gives us strength when we share our stories and experiences, one mother to the next. 

Hosted by moms just like you, Mercedes Lara and Amy Amaradio, are excited to meet you, offer some space, and insight in hopes to create a bright and beautiful future for our children with Down Syndrome.

The Lucky Few at SkyPark Santa's Village

Join us on October 28th for some serious fall festivities in the beautiful city of Skyforest located in the San Bernardino Mountains .
